3 concept stages made up the advertising photography for the 2007/08 New Zealand's A1GP syndicate. Firstly the car itself, looming out of black. We wheeled the car into the studio, discovering its really not made for doing three point turns. And where is the shopping meant to go? Then three identifiable kiwi animals found themselves clinging on to the car as it raced down the home straight. It was a case of finding the right spot on the car where they would be most at home. Finally for each race, we needed to make sure the locals knew we were in town. We took the tequila worm out and let our weta get loose in Mexico, Johnny hit a few stray bugs in Malaysia and we whipped the froth off a few beers in Prague.
